Appeal: Fatal collision in Old Leake, Boston

We are saddened to confirm the death of a 62-year-old man following a collision in Boston earlier today.

We were made aware of a single vehicle collision just before 10am today (Saturday 17 October) on Mere Drove in Old Leake involving a grey Range Rover Evoque. The Range Rover was believed to have collided with two other unoccupied stationary cars in a farmers yard.

The driver and sole occupant of the car was sadly pronounced dead at the scene. His family are aware and will be supported by specially trained officers at this difficult time.

We are keen to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the grey Range Rover in the vicinity of Mere Drove in Old Leake between 6am to 10am today.
